South East Meridian

Located approximately ten miles from Boise Idaho, Meridian is considered a suburb of the state’s capital. Meridian, in the middle of the Treasure Valley, is centrally located in close proximity to all the amenities Idaho has to offer. With the population booming from 34,000 to 66,500 in a few short years, many parts of Meridian have been developed into new home subdivisions. The Southeast portion of Meridian consists of the area south of the freeway and in between Eagle Road and Meridian Road.

Overflowing with suburban life, Meridian is a prime spot for affordable and beautiful homes. Real estate has been developed as the city of Meridian expands to fit all of the new residents. Homes in Southeast Meridian are more reasonably priced than similar homes in Boise. New and newer homes are available in many of the subdivisions located in Southeast Meridian including Bear Creek, Thousand Springs, Meridian Greens, Sportsman Point, Tuscany, Kentucky Ridge and Observation Point.

With the development of new home subdivisions growing, the entertainment industry has also been prospering. The Majestic Theatre is a new and exciting addition to Southeast Meridian. Meridian Parks and Recreation also hosts many sporting events at all of the public parks, including Bear Creek Park. This prospering part of town is definitely filled with exciting new things to do.

One of the attributes of Meridian is its convenience and easy living. Southeast Meridian is a prime example. You don’t need to venture far from home to satisfy all of your shopping desires. With everything from local coffee shops to fine dining, chain stores to independents, Southeast Meridian has what you’re looking for. There are six business complexes located in Southeast Meridian and they are filling up with new stores every day: Walgreens and Lowe’s are currently under construction. Meridian has a prospering commercial community that continues to grow as the city does.
